I have been a repeat client at this nail tech for over a year and I have to say no one takes the time and care like Joanne does. The quality of the materials and the designs are consistently higher in comparison to other nail salons in ktown. Joanne is devoted to her craft like no other.
I have always felt welcome and respected here, as a person of color, I find that one review claiming Joanne mistreated them hard to believe. Joanne is very professional and respectful. This is the only place where I feel like the focus is 100% on me every time I go, which isn’t the case in most cheaper nail salons. Wow I’m so happy I discovered this place – a hidden gem in Korean town. I’ve been to many nail salons in Tokyo and NYC, and I’m very satisfied with my experience at Joa Nail Salon. Highly recommended (I don’t really write reviews and this is a rare occasion). They were very welcoming even though it was a last minute reservation. So many colors and designs to choose from, and Joanne, the owner/nail artist, is able to accommodate to basically any request you would have. Based on my ideas Joanne gave me advice on which colors and patterns to go for, which I’m really happy with.
