I am not one to complain usually but I just got the worst pedicure experience EVER at the Saginaw art nails. To save time I decided to get my pedicure done here because I usually get my design nails here. And not only was I pressured into upgrading to gel on my toes which I’ve never done before, I was also very rushed, they used a drill to remove my old polish, they tore up the cuticles on my toes, like they were HURTING! And I’ve never had that before. And, they didn’t want to give me the little disposable shoes. And after I didn’t want to upgrade to the fancier pedicure she got really rude with me. Like sorry sis. I came with a budget and you’re already not giving me a choice on the gel. She didn’t even scrub my feet or anything! I’ve been coming here because they do have some really talented nail techs for designs. Something always told me not to get a pedicure there, and I should’ve listened to my gut! This terrible experience may be what makes me take my complete business to Onyx who always does the best pedicures. I got my nails done 2 days ago. They’ve already chipped off (I got dip). She didn’t shape them at all. The dip went into my cuticles. I asked her to fix it but she was so ready to be done because her boyfriend was waiting outside. I’m highly disappointed. Never going here again. $120+ down the drain. I have been going to Art nails salon close to 6 months. Today I stopped in to see if I could make an appointment and was told they no longer take appointments on the weekend. The lady working the front desk was rude and on her phone the entire time. I then asked if I could come during the week with a set appointment. I was told yes, I requested Tuesday at 5:30 pm to give me time to get there straight from work, the lady at the front desk told me I had to be there at 5pm. They don’t close until 7pm, so I’m confused on why I have to come 30 minutes earlier than requested and I’m not able to be there at that time. The entire interaction was unprofessional/rude. The only reason I stopped in was due to the them not answering the phone, I had called several times throughout the day. It’s sad that you can’t get good customer service. They have reasonable pricing and do good work for the most part,but the lack of professionalism is why I won’t be returning. – brittany wilson
