They did a very good job on the technical aspects of a pedicure. I felt rushed because the manager was rushing around in a huff. This is supposed to be a spa/ relaxing experience and I wish the people managing the spa were more personable and relaxed. Also would be nice to have a massage chair when getting pedicures or AT LEAST offer a quick neck massage. – sarah tocci

Edit 12/18/23: sadly my second time was kind of a bummer as they used a drill to remove my gel off my toes. Just a drill, didn’t soak them off at all. Which was surprising since they charge extra for removal!

Best pedicure I’ve had in LA! The whole energy and vibe of the salon is very calm and relaxing. Jazz is playing softly and the space is chic and clean. The man at the front desk was kind, polite, and did not rush me to pick my polish color. I splurged and went for the jelly pedicure with gel polish. Though it is a little pricey it was worth it. It felt amazing! It came with so many steps from this awesome lime green jelly foot bath, many moisturizing lotions, scrub, massage, hot stones, callus treatment, etc. My pedicure looks perfect. Fantastic attention to detail. My skin is soft and so moisturized. 10/10! Will definitely be back.

PS- there are some old photos and reviews that say there are not faucets at the pedicure stations. That is not the case today. They have running water at each station and used a plastic liner as well for hygiene. – Deanna Turcotte

I never leave reviews, this might be my first one. I feel really bad to potentially take away business from them, they’re very nice but the quality of pedicures and manicures is just so bad. It feels like every step of the way they do something wrong, toes and nails just look like I did it at home. They’re so nice, and the space is really nice but if you’re at all particular about your manicures and pedicures this is not the place for you. – Buffy Summers

I came for a pedicure for 29$. I was disappointed when I walked in at the smell (smelled like a dog grooming place or almost like dog poop/or a dog being groomed) and also the fact that they didn’t have normal spa massage chairs with the foot bowls. They only have regular sitting chairs and a basket filled with water.

I was already here and tbh they were really friendly and nice so I stayed.

The pedicure was great, however the main reason I get a pedicure is for ingrown toenail removal and they weren’t able to do that. One lady tried but it was ineffective.

If they had regular pedicure chairs and someone who knew what they were doing when kit comes to ingrown toenail removal I would keep coming back, but due to those two things I won’t be. – TAH Music

Finally a nail salon that doesn’t use a drill! I just moved to the Silverlake area and Tinct came highly recommended. It was a soothing atmosphere and my nail artist Anar took his time to perfect my gel mani. Thank you! Will be back. – Kylie Anderman
