Nina has been doing my nails for years and I absolutely love her salon. Everyone is so welcoming and always makes sure you are being taken care of. I have this nail shop 2 chances, both were bad. Every time i come in this nail shop the techs make me feel like a pest. I ask for a certain polish, i get an irritated facial expression as if I’m supposed to take whatever they give. For instance, i like a certain polish for my French top nails because of my skin tone. I stated this, i was told by the very 1st tech that sits directly next to the reception desk that “they only use bubble bath and if i want a different color I’ll have to figure that out”. What does that mean? I guess if you aren’t getting Christmas trees or polka dots, she doesn’t want to be bothered with you. Thank god for the nail techs that sit on the opposite side of the shop, they matched my color so that i was satisfied! The nail tech that sits 2 stations down from the reception desk was my tech, she was VERY rough, after so many times of her using excessive pressure to file, push back cuticles, and even CUTTING ME, she tells me I am too sensitive to get my nails done. No apologies, just deflection. My nails were also different lengths & not the shape I asked for. I did bring this to her attention, she did not fix it. This same tech also attempted to give me a dry manicure but charge me the price of a full one. Not happening. I will not be returning. I will go to the shop where I pay a bit more, but get MUCH better service, attitudes, and attention to detail. M&A nails on Baltimore Pike is the way to go ladies!! – Amirah Duggan

I have never had a bad experience here once!! I’ve been to so many nail salons in the area but came here at the recommendation of a coworker and refuse to go anywhere else. I’ve had multiple people do my nails and they’re gorgeous every time no matter who does them. Such a gem in delco, I tried dip powder for the first time yesterday and am obsessed. The prices are similar to those around but I would much rather spend it somewhere I feel comfortable but also where I know it will last 3+ weeks. I work in retail and am clumsy with my hands but never have to worry about them breaking immediately. – cora moeller

I had a nice experience at Brookside nail salon. The salon opened about 4 months ago. It’s clean and the staff is professional. I highly value customer service and I’ve found that many nail salons in this area lack good customer service and don’t speak well to their customers. Nina, my nail tech, and the owner of the salon was very courteous, pleasant, and professional. I got a mani (dip powder) and pedicure and I love the way my nails turned out. I will be returning. – C L
