I took my wife and daughter to have a spa day, they basically ignored my 3 year old precious little girl (I had to tell them to put water in the foot spa, add extra pillows, and told them I wanted her to get her pedicure done, she didn’t get one) and my wife lol, my wife had chips in her nails in less than 24 hours, cheap products, watered down… I’m not sure, but I do know, that at grapevine nails by Baja Mex, her nails held up for 20 days without a single peel or chip (while packing boxes because we are moving west, yay, point being; Castle does not reflect the treatment of royalty) you have failed and I would recommend anyone who sees this review, go to Grapevine Nails, we are still moving this week; it’s been 10 days, she got her first snag today. BOOOOO CASTLE NAILS… I will add photos here and on their review page to reflect accordingly (the pictures posted here are after 48 hours from Castle) I’m leaving this review because I had to hear it relentlessly from my wife about how horrible she felt about her nails until I took her back to get them done right at Grapevine Nails – Jeremy McCabe

They use discounts to get all their reviews!! It is not 5 star but maybe a 3. Unless you are a regular with a set tech, I’d try a different salon. I am not one to complain.. I have visited this “spa” probably 10-15 times over the course of a year. They have some great techs and then some mediocre at best. The first couple times were great and I loved my nails and I went to the same person each time. She since has not been available on the days I am and doesn’t do pedicures so I have been helped by other people. My nails have been crooked, different shapes, I’ve been cut etc., I no longer get my nails done unless that one tech is available. As for pedicures… never been the best but I chalked it up to them being new or whatever. This last time was my final straw. While the tech was very sweet he was not experienced enough to even paint my toes, let alone do a full pedicure. The paint looks like my 2 year old niece did it, I didn’t receive the calluses removing service, my toe nails are different shapes, no cuticles were actually cut, AND it took an hour and a half. I actually spoke up this time and received $4 off my total. I paid close to $60 for an elementary school project. – A G

I was looking for a new nail salon and stumbled upon this one. I saw that the reviews were great and there were a ton. I’m from Denton, so I drove about 40 minutes to this salon. They got me in, and let me tell you, this place is beautiful. Tons of colors to pick from, a very friendly and interactive staff, and great services. I got the solar nails (colored acrylic) done by Mai, and she did a fantastic job. I love them. I definitely will be coming back again to get my nails done. – Jessica Hammond
