I walked in for a gel manicure at about 6:30 on a weekday. I was immediately seated and someone started on my nails, the salon was already relatively busy at this point. Ultimately 3 different people did my nails, it was neat and the polish application was ok.

This salon closes at 9pm, while I was sat there a steady stream of customers were coming in for pedicures. They must be doing something right, I’ll visit once again just to make sure!

Out of all of the nail salons in all of Manhattan, I’m yet to find one more inviting, efficient, and cleaner than Cleo. Their prices are fair. The employees are all extremely skilled. Cleo Spa is my favorite salon for a manicure and pedicure. I have been going here for over two decades when they had their first location. What I like about this place is the cleanliness, the skill of the ladies who give all these services and the spacious pretty interior. During the pandemic they were strict about the rules and one had to fill out a form with assorted questions. Everyone who worked wore masks as did the customers. Here manicures take time as it’s not a quick job. A special is the moisturizing gloves that previously used to be included in the price of a manicure but now costs money. It’s particularly good for dry cuticles. I always get it. It makes me feel luxurious. Many ladies have worked here and I liked Luisa and Aida. Now I have Mica who is excellent. Mingy is in management at the salon and she is personable. A friend asked for a manipedi salon and now Laura is a monthly happy customer. Highly recommended. – Sabena Singh
