Honestly I came in with high hopes. But I was so sad with the customer service I waited almost an hour when they only had 2 clients and three workers I just came to get my nails painted a simple manicure but I would not waste my time again. As a Hispanic woman, I first would like to preface that I really hope this Latina-owned business will thrive; however, in order to do so, they need to figure out their schedules, improve their efficiency, and continue working on their craft. I scheduled 10 am appointments for both my mother-in-law and me. We were there at 10 and a nail tech became available a few minutes after 10, which is no big deal. I told my MIL to go first. I did not get taken until 10:48. Originally I wanted biogel with ombré French nails with some glitter and snowflakes. I left with French tips. Unfortunately my nail tech was not able to do ombré French—I understand everyone is working on their skills. But it was 12:00 pm when she finally finished the French tips. I told her we didn’t need to proceed with the art work because I had to get going. With Christmas next week I was really looking forward to getting Xmas nails but since I wasn’t taken until 48 mins past the time I reserved, I didn’t have time to keep waiting. My nails were poorly filed and some nails were left slanted. After I got home I fixed them with my own nail file. What made the entire experience worse was that it was colder inside the salon than it was outside. It was incredibly uncomfortable. My fingers felt frozen. The biogel was clumping because it was so cold. My MIL and I could not wait to get back into the car. The entire time we were trying our best not to tremble. I feel that it should be noted how incredibly cold it was and they should consider running floor heaters.
I’m sad that this wasn’t a better experience, especially because I do believe they all have a special talent, considering the posts I’ve seen on Instagram. – Dianna Davis
