How could a store owner think this is right?

At the end of my gel pedicure, the woman realized she had been using regular polish instead of a gel polish. She began to remove all the polish to start over. She scrubbed my nails raw with acetone and the drill to get the polish off as it had been baked on. My toes were too sore to continue. I told them we needed to stop. I went to check out and was charged for the pedicure. How is this right? I ran out crying and came back to ask them if they thought that was right and as the only customer in the salon, they were very firmly not going to reason with me as I stood there asking if they feel okay charging me? I explained I couldn’t come back later to get it fixed because I have a newborn and this was my one time to get out. Is it paying for a pedicure service and walking out with no polish on and raw toes? No. It’s the lack of humanity they showed me. Awful experience. So sad. This place is great! Easily the best acrylics I’ve ever gotten. My sister and I were in Coronado and wanted to get our nails done and they took us right away without an appointment.
